Preparation is always key for any event - here are a few hints and tips that can set you on the path to success... that you may not have already thought about.
1) Put a notepad somewhere convenient so that you can write down the presents your child has received, and who they are from. 2) Charge the battery in the camera. You don't want to take the first photo and see the battery light appear. You should also check that you have enough space on the memory card, or enough film. 3) Always make it very clear on the invitations the start and end time. And don't feel you need to make a full day of it. Many kids tire quickly, and if they're eating a lot of sugar they'll run around excited, and then collapse asleep if it goes on too long. | |

Magicians for kids parties tend to put on a show that is half magic, half comedy - and that's the kind of fun that kids want at a birthday party. Make sure you don't accidentally book a corporate entertainer who is used to performing 'seriously'.

magicians are also balloon artists, or comedians.
Other types of children's entertainer include jugglers, face painting, stilt-walking, close-up magic and clowns.
