In all the preparation for the party, there are undoubtedly a few things you might overlook, so here are some top tips to help make your child's birthday party a great success:
1) Put a notepad somewhere convenient so that you can write down the presents your child has received, and who they are from. 2) Charge the battery in the camera. You don't want to take the first photo and see the battery light appear. You should also check that you have enough space on the memory card, or enough film. 3) If there are brothers and sisters of the party boy or girl, try to involve them in the organisation. It will give them a sense of purpose and prevent some of the jealousy that could start when all the attention is away from them. | |

Magicians for kids parties tend to put on a show that is half magic, half comedy - and that's the kind of fun that kids want at a birthday party. Make sure you don't accidentally book a corporate entertainer who is used to performing 'seriously'.

magicians are also balloon artists, or comedians.
Alternatively, hiring in a bouncy castle or other giant inflatable can be amazing fun for the kids.
