Having organised many successful events, one thing you always need is great preparation, and just because it's a kids party, doesnt mean you wont overlook a few areas:
1) Put a notepad somewhere convenient so that you can write down the presents your child has received, and who they are from. 2) Charge the battery in the camera. You don't want to take the first photo and see the battery light appear. You should also check that you have enough space on the memory card, or enough film. 3) Check for allergies or other food specialities. It seems that more and more children have food allergies, many involving nuts. But you also need to be sure which children have special diets based on religion or just parental preference (such as vegetarians). | |

Sometimes the kids just need to get out of the house and run around, so maybe it's better to go to a park or even a theme park for the afternoon?
