Having organised many successful events, one thing you always need is great preparation, and just because it's a kids party, doesnt mean you wont overlook a few areas:
1) Blow the balloons up on the morning of the party, not the day before... you don't want sad balloons, half deflated. If you are getting helium balloons, make sure you know who is going to pick them up from the store. 2) Charge the battery in the camera. You don't want to take the first photo and see the battery light appear. You should also check that you have enough space on the memory card, or enough film. 3) Check for allergies or other food specialities. It seems that more and more children have food allergies, many involving nuts. But you also need to be sure which children have special diets based on religion or just parental preference (such as vegetarians). | |
